Filming: Day One 12/11/2010
We also had Paul bring his digital camera to allow us to take pictures of what we were doing, these will be taken and made into a slideshow which we will pot onto our blogs.
This will allow us to show our peers and teachers and get some feedback on how we can make the video even better.

Monday 18th October, 2010 cont.
After the lesson had finished, I went home with the original plan and began making the amendments. I left some of the original ideas in and added some of the newer ideas that we discussed during the lesson. When I finished writing up the changes I sent a message to Paul on facebook.Monday, 18 October 2010
Monday 18th October, 2010
This is what our original plan looked like, but after some deliberation we decided that there was too much going on and not enough time to get it.
In this picture you can see me listening to the song, while Paul and Lousie where discussing things such as mise-en-scene, cinematography and our original ideas.
In this picture you can see the laptop with the song that we were listening to highlighted, you can also see alot of paper around us as we tried to figure out what we were going to use and what we weren't.Friday, 15 October 2010

"In My Heart" Lyrics

Aida Profile
Aida is a family band coming out of Vancouver B.C. made up of Jenn Falk who is the bands vocalist and pianist, Jamie Falk who is the bands drummer and Jared Falk who is the bands bassist.Jenn writes all the lyrics from real life experiences giving the songs a soulful and heartfelt mentality you are sure to recognize, with a blend of pop, rock and jazz
Aida just released their first full length album called "Pirates and Gypsies".
Asking Permission 2
We have decided to use the song In My Heart by the Aidaband, below you can see a print screen of the email I sent to the lead singer Jenn Falk.

A few hours later we received a reply giving us the permission to use the band's song. You can see a print screen of the reply below, within the email she also attached a copy of the song.
Problem
This problem means that we are falling behind slightly with our coursework, we are still able to do some planning but without a song ideas will be lacking. It also means that extra posts have to added explaining that we now have to use another artist and the emails that we sent and received.

C4 Greatest Music Videos Part 5
This video shows Justin stalking a girl who many people believed was meant to be Britney Spears, although Justin still denies that the girl was meant to represent Britney.
14. Christina Aguilera- Dirty (2002)
This video was really a re-invention of the old Christina from the Mickey Mouse club to a sexy young woman who could do what she wanted.
5. Madonna- Like A Prayer (1989)
This video was very controversial due to the story line where Madonna witnesses the murder of a white girl by three white men. A black man tries to help and save her but he is arrested for her murder and it is up to Madonna as to whether she should save this man's life or listen to the criminal's threat.
The black man appears in the video as what many people assumed to be Jesus, when he was actually meant to be Saint Martin de Porres. The video also showed religious and sexual ecstasy.

Preliminary Exercise: Lip Synching
We have already begun filming our preliminary exercise, and as the editor it is my job to go back to the editing suite in my spare time to edit and upload the exercise, before the end of next week.
The song we will be using for our preliminary exercise is I Won't Forget You by Black Diamond Bay.

Bob Dylan- Subterranean Homesick Blues (1965)
This video was made by writing some of the words from the song onto cards, and then throwing them away when the word had been said. The video was planned the night before and was made in one day- the length of the song. You can see that Bob Dylan isn't always in frame and some of the timing is off.
The main reason this video is so popular is because of the many copies, remakes and parodies that were made after the video was released. Below is an example of this with an advert for misheard lyrics and Maxwell tapes.
C4 100 Greatest Music Videos: Part 3
This video was made up of Godley and Crème and other morphing faces singing the song, to make the effect look seamless different halves of people’s faces were mixed together.
69. Frankie Goes To Hollywood- Two Tribes (1984)
This video was filmed by Godley and Creme. The song's title comes from the line "when two great warrior tribes go to war", from the film Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior. The single was released at the height of the Cold War, the video depicted a wrestling match between the then President Ronald Reagan and then Soviet leader Konstantin Chernenko.
57. Meat Loaf- I'd Do Anything For Love (But I Won't Do That) (1993)
This video retold an old love story of Beauty and The Beast, with Meat Loaf playing the hideous monster.
47. The Prodigy- Firestarter (1996)
It was suggested that the vocalist Keith Flint needed medical attention due to his erratic movements.
